Fictional future is the concept of things that could be seen as outrageous acts that are possible in the future. The fictional future continues to slowly creep upon the present day in the way that we use technology. The first example is extensive data collection. Our data is collected by the minute, the way we use Venmo, social media interactions, and medical status’. Another example of this could be credit score or social presence. The final example could be the apps we use on our phone and how they’re tracked to provide information to advertisers.
I will definitely think differently about how I use my social media as the digital footprint is extremely real. The main concern is my credit score. More opportunities arise when your credit score is better.
This information in relation to my report has obvious ties. When looking at my report, I noticed things I didn’t remember posting and that stays on my profile and affects how people could view me.
